Our flooring solutions are specifically formulated not only from an innovative functional perspective, but also with longevity and sustainability kept in mind.
Flowcrete Middle East takes pride in being able to confidently say that we manufacture high performance resin systems which have a long durability, ensuring an extended product life and ultimately reducing the need of replacement of the product.
As a result, we are able to save on resources that would have been used for uplift, removal and disposal of the floor and for manufacturing and installing a replacement floor.
Flowcrete Middle East manufactures most of our products in Dubai (UAE) and Dammam (KSA). Due to lower transport emissions, LEED credits can be obtained for materials manufactured within a 500 mile radius of a project, providing a competitive advantage for countries within the GCC.
At Flowcrete Middle East we always take extra initiative to package our products in bulk, using re-usable Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC's) or recyclable drum containers in order to reduce the quantity of non-reusable packaging and waste.
We closely monitor all of our waste streams to make certain that we are obtaining the most cost-effective and environmentally friendly route to disposal. We constantly attempt to reintroduce factory waste to our manufacturing processes and find ways to eliminate waste at source.
Additionally, a variety of our flooring systems can remain in-situ when floor replacement is carried out, avoiding the necessity for disposal.
Over a decade ago, Flowcrete Middle East started using water-based and solvent-free flooring technology, largely reducing the emission of harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into the atmosphere during installation of the product.
Flowcrete Middle East seeks to purchase raw materials from local markets, warehousing and manufacturing units within a 500-mile radius of our production site in order to optimise raw material use as well as reduce the transportation distances and burning fuel into the environment.
Additionally, many materials in our flooring products are created from recycled or reclaimed sources.
Site assessments are undertaken on a regular basis in order to monitor the use of the surrounding land, water and atmosphere. These audits focus on assessing the use of hazardous chemical substances, ventilation, environmental noise, waste management and water and sanitation to further our ability to be more sustainable in our daily operations.
Flowcrete Middle East takes responsibility in helping their clients achieve low energy consumption levels by creating in-built light reflective properties of various flooring systems, reducing the need for artificial strip and spotlighting.
