Japanese restaurant chain Zuma has launched its latest culinary adventure in The Galleria on Sowwah Square located on Al Maryah Island – a bustling district, which is now being tipped as the Manhattan of Abu Dhabi.

Inspired by the informal izakaya-style Japanese dining experience, Zuma is the brainchild of award winning chef, Rainer Becker, who challenged Interior Designers, Studio Glitt, to create a concept for his latest restaurant that would be independent to that of Zuma Dubai but still capture the contemporary and sophisticated style of his other locations around the world.

Zuma Abu Dhabi is set on one floor but incorporates separate lounge, bar and restaurant areas along with a small semi-private dining room and welcomes guests with a private glass elevator taking them down into the main dining room.

Flowcrete's flooring has played a part in Abu Dhabi’s newest nightspot, with over 400 square metres of polyurethane flooring materials used in the kitchen and other back-of-house areas.

Flowfresh MF was chosen on accounts of its impressive hygiene profile; offering a seamless, non-porous finish that eliminates the growth of mould spores as well as the material’s unique inherent antimicrobial technology, using a silver-ion agent to destroy up to 99.9% of all surface bacteria, ensuring a hygienic culinary environment free from bacterial contamination.

Zuma Abu Dhabi opened its doors early 2014 to much to rave reviews diners and food critics alike.
